honor your rest and health during postpartum

Welcoming a baby is a life-changing moment. One that is bound by love, hope and excitement, but can also cause unprecedented stress and anxiety. Post Pamper provides the health care and support system you need to pause for healing and reflection. To soak it all in. The beautiful, the hard, and the waves of everything that washes over during this time. We hold space for it all because we believe it’s sacred.

San Diego’s first postpartum retreat

We prepare and plan so well for pregnancy and we prepare a lot for the baby’s arrival. However, in the U.S., it’s common for postpartum to be overlooked.

In Western culture, it’s normal to take care of your baby all by yourself from day one. Many parents are essentially left to sink or swim during a vulnerable time. Families that adopt or use a surrogate can also find themselves feeling overwhelmed upon bringing baby home. No matter how baby arrives, many parents desire more support options.

At Post Pamper, we are here to help so you can enjoy time with your newly expanded family. We welcome all family types and believe in pampering and surrounding families in all of the support they deserve. It truly takes a village and we would be honored to be included as part of your postpartum support team.

According to the World Health Organization, the postpartum period is regarded as a critical time for women and babies to set the stage for long-term health and often neglected.

New recommendations stress urgency of both physical and mental health support during postpartum.

Our goal is to normalize and elevate postpartum care.

We are better together. When we feel supported, we go further.

Surround yourself with high quality care professionals and vetted experts. So much of postpartum can be an inward and isolating journey. We’re here to help you find community while finding your new flow.

We see rest and recovery as essential, not nice-to-haves.

Asking for basic needs to be met when it comes to nourishment, rest, hydration, and recovery is foundational. We hope every parent is seen through this lens with support viewed as essential.

When a parent is cared for, they can show up stronger for those around them.

By caring for yourself, your whole family wins. Dedicated time to rest, recover, and bond will only serve to promote a more positive postpartum experience.
